Delete your LOVE YA! account

You can delete your LOVE YA! account directly in the mobile app. This page explains the steps and what happens to your data after deletion.

Delete in the app

Open the LOVE YA! app.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings.
Tap Account deletion.
Confirm the deletion prompt.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address connected to your LOVE YA! account. Include the subject line "LOVE YA account deletion request" and enough information for us to verify account ownership.

Data deleted

LOVE YA! account and authentication profile
Profile details such as nickname, description, preferences, and contact fields
Profile photos stored by LOVE YA!
Session participation data, signals, matches, notifications, and related app activity that can be deleted under applicable law

Data that may be retained

Records that must be retained to comply with legal, security, tax, dispute, or fraud-prevention obligations
Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you
Limited records needed to process abuse reports, safety reviews, or account deletion audit requirements

Retained data is kept only for as long as required for the purpose described above and is handled under our Privacy Policy.
